Fla. man loses arm in alligator attack – Yahoo! News

As I read this article I didn’t find it that interesting until I read
the second paragraph. It says’s that Deputies responded to a call about a
man yelling for help around 4am. According to this article the man lost his left arm when an alligator attacked him in Florida. Adrian Apgar was his name-he was sent to a hospital and said to be in critical condition. The doctors
said that his right arm was also broken and had leg injuries. His leg
was also partially amputated. This article disturbs me because what the
hell was the guy doing in the water in FLORIDA no less at 4am in the
morning. FLORIDA! is this guy crazy there are so many alligators and
crocodiles in Florida. I wonder why he did such a stupid thing. I
almost feel as though he deserved it? But then again that would be
really mean because there is really nothing left to his body. He is
missing an arm, half a leg and other broken bones. This is sad but then
again he shouldn’t have been in the water. I wonder if he was on drugs
or something? It’s not like he is a 10 year old boy or a little older
that didn’t know enough to go in the water at this time-he is 45 years
old! The article was short but straight to the point. I hate when
newspapers publish articles that leave us with questions that will
never be answered. Best of luck to this man and his injuries. I wonder
how his family feels about this accident?

obviously this guy didn’t know what he was doing. everyone knows about the gators and crocks in florida. 4AM would be the WORST time to be walking around. thats when they get their food!
you’d think that since the gators are so use to people that they’d leave them alone. well, they aren’t and they will attack.
i guess this guy learned his lesson. it just took him half an arm to learn it!

Yeah. I am so shocked by this article. Why would someone do that? It just doesnt make any sense at all to me. Gators and crocs are not known for being friendly animals either.

That was very foolish. Stay away from marsh areas when its dark. Never go alone either. Didn’t your mother ever tell you that?
